Investing is a Results Based Business. Your Health is No Different.
Updated: Feb 25, 2020
I find myself in awe of the results that chiropractic produce. On a regular basis, we witness the most amazing changes in the health of our patients. Without question, the most amazing thing (and best kept secret) about chiropractic - is the results! But why the heck do we keep it a secret? Investments in health are the best, and pay the largest dividends. Did you know that roughly only 12% of the population sees a chiropractor? Thats only about 1 in 10! Think about that. How many of your friends and family see a chiropractor? If they don’t… do you keep it a secret? Everyones greatest asset is their health, without question. If you aren’t investing in it, it will quickly become a diminishing asset… but it’s also the only one that you simply can’t afford to lose on!
The Journal of Manipulative and Physiologic Therapeutics (JMPT) studied 311 chiropractic patients, ages 65 and older, who had received ‘maintenance’ care for 5 years or longer, and compared them to healthy adults of the same age. The results were amazing (even though for me, I would say they were expected!).
So for our patients who have done so well, and shared their miracles of success with us, we want you to know that you are not alone! The next time you’re having a cup of coffee with a friend, share these amazing results. The JMPT study found that the chiropractic patients had 60.2% fewer hospital admissions, they had spent 59% less days hospitalized, they had been in 62% less outpatient surgeries, and… the best part… had 85% less pharmaceutical costs! This amazing group of patients had long ago invested in their health, and their investment was paying off in every-way possible. They are able to do more, they are healthier, and their investment as saving them an incredible amount of money! If you love your friends and family (and we sure hope you do!), why on earth wouldn’t you want them to know about these amazing results and how their life could change?
The study also found that the chiropractic patients spend only 31% of the national average for their health care, and they had 50% less medical provider visits. Of those studied, the health habits of the chiropractic patients were ‘radically better’ than the overall population. Finally, the statistic that should surprise absolutely no one; 98.5% believed their care to be considerably, or extremely valuable to their health.
When you invest in your health, it’s important to make sure your investment is sound. No matter how you measure it, statistically/practically/clinically chiropractic is one of the best investments you can make for your health. When you have a great investment opportunity, I’m sure you share it with your friends and family. Have you ever recommended that they invest in their health? Maybe it’s time to start!
